The Official Playstation Magazine has revealed some of the benefits behind the PS4 version of the upcoming multiplatform video game, “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.” According to their report on Aug. 6, the publication believed that the title would have a positive impact for both the developer and console manufacturer.
Although the Official Playstation Magazine admitted that “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain” looked great when it was shown off running on current-generation targeted hardware, they are assuming that the PS4 version would looked even better. This is because the Fox Engine is built with the next-generation hardware in mind. The 8 GB of unified system RAM, for example, should enable better textures and more expansive areas.
Sony would also benefit greatly with “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.” The publication stated that most of the launch games on the PS4 won’t be nearly as sophisticated as the latest “Metal Gear Solid” title. They also think that the next video game in the series, which will probably be built with more specifically towards the next-generation system, won’t be arriving until 2017.
In addition to the PS4, “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain” is also being released for the PS3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. You can take a look at the latest screenshots of the video game, which does hot have a release date, in the slideshow located on top of this article.
