Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) was established in 1999. It collaborated with Hero MotoCorp for the Indian market when they entered the country. Currently, both companies have parted ways and operate separately in the local market and have one of the highest consumer bases in the world. Honda currently has four manufacturing units in India namely, Manesar in Gurugram, Narsapur in Karnataka, Tapukara in Rajasthan, and relatively Vithalapur unit in Gujarat.
Honda, which has emerged as the second largest two-wheeler company in India, has a huge production line under its portfolio. To compete with other players in the market, Honda is constantly putting in a lot of effort in research and development while diversifying its product line. Honda has ventured into mass production of two wheelers, as well as the premium two-wheeler market, giving stiff competition to other players.

- Honda Activa i
This two-wheeler has got tremendous reception from the consumers. In its latest version, Honda has made some cosmetic changes to the instrument cluster and added new graphics to it. In addition, it has got front storage hook and the four-in-one ignition key slot. This Honda new two-wheeler has also introduced five new colour variants of this two-wheeler.
- Honda Navi
This bike has got a cool sporty look. It is equipped with an 110cc engine, which powers the Activa as well. It was supposed to be launched in three variants namely:
- Navi Street
- Navi off-road
- Navi adventure
With Navi, several customisations are also offered by the company to let the rider choose what they want.
- Honda Livo
It's a premium segment motorbike in 100/110 cc segment. This Honda new bike offers tubeless tyres and alloy wheels. The customer can also opt for front wheel disc brake option. It is built around the same frame which is used in the CB Twister. It has also got the fuel tank extended a signature look.
- Honda Africa Twin 2018
Honda Africa Twin is the excellent offroading option, which gives stiff competition to other such off-roaders in the segment. It is a premium motorbike redesigned for better stability while riding and staying static. The new version has got longer Airbox and comparatively lighter balancer shaft. The weight of battery is also reduced.
